Lisa de Boer | Australian Glass Artist

Whilst never understanding the meaning of life with no passion, I feel fortunate to have lived mine creating art. Be it useful, subjective, contemporary, or tacky…Who am I to judge!!!!

One thing I’ve learnt is, art will never please all of the people all of the time…as long as it makes some people happy some of the time, that’s what matters.

Over the years I’ve found my passion enables me to dig deep into the souls of my clients, to create something they want to see every day in their foyers, homes, workplaces…

Then… in my spare time I create my own dreams of glass shaped, bent and twisted. Glass being glass, I find it has it’s own way of becoming something beautiful, shiny, reflective. Whilst pushing the boundaries glass presents, I constantly challenge myself to push it further. Never bored by the same style of art, I liken it to a big bowl of spaghetti. Each noodle a continuous thread, that leads to others.

From humble beginnings, I’m proud of my team, showroom, factory and gallery, where all things creative can and do happen.

Welcome to my world.
